I believe the presence of evil results from the
absence of a conscience. Particularly when the
person recognizes that by having no remorse,
he/she has the ability to act out horrid events
that most individuals could not even fathom.
I think some people are just crazy and do evil
things. I believe those people need prison time
in addition to psychiatric intervention and
MEDICATION. BTW, I am a firm supporter of capital
punishment. Similarly I think that the insanity
plea is just crap. Mentally ill or not, people
need to pay the consequences for their
behavior/crimes against society.
