There have been many rude flames on this forum regarding Tom. Probably from
many that don't even know him and his situation with the band. Who knows who
was at fault. All I can say is that from my experience with talking with the
band members, friends and attending thier live shows, it was evident to me that
with improved management, PR, promotion, etc. this band would have made it to a
national level. I would compare it to the likes of the band OAR who put out
solid albums of creative songs, created a cult following, stayed true to thier
style, toured like crazy and are now starting to play some major venues. I
don't imply that Bloo was built for mainstream top 40 radio. I think we are all
happy for that. But, they were a great band, great team talent. With good
promotion I believe the band would have lived longer and turned out some great
product for a wider audience. I'm still a fan and still like to promote the
band with my website and sharing the recordings I have with other fans. I will
never forget the live shows I witnessed. Amazing!
